Best known for crafting iconic looks for Robin Roberts of Good Morning America, Petula is a six-time Emmy Award-winning celebrity hairstylist with a gift for revealing the star within every individual. Her magic touch has graced legends like First Ladies Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton, Debbye Turner, Tory Johnson, and many more.

But her journey to the top didn’t begin in a salon—it began on the small Caribbean island of Nevis, where she was raised. As a child, she was often teased for her darker skin, height, textured hair, and large feet. Rather than letting it break her, she turned pain into purpose. Those experiences became the spark for her lifelong pursuit of beauty on her own terms.

After moving to the U.S. in the late '90s, Petula attended Wilfred Beauty Academy—where she discovered that true beauty can’t be bottled, bleached, or boxed. It lives within. And that realization changed everything.

With over 20 years in the beauty industry, she’s trained at prestigious institutions like Dudley University, Louis Licari, and Pivot Point International, becoming a powerhouse stylist and a voice for self-empowerment.

In 2017, she launched Uplifting You, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved communities through youth outreach, mentorship, and uplifting events.
